Artistic Director Christopher Stowell did, and the result was the incredibly popular Cole Porter-infused Eyes on You. Joining that piece in our spring program are 3 short works with a bit of something for everyone. Prefer your ballet with a backbeat? You ll love Trey McIntyre s Bloodhound Gang-inspired Speak. Find solace from your weekly yoga practice? You ll recognize some classic yoga positions transformed into sinewy spirit animals in Nicolo Fonte s Left Unsaid. Rounding out the program, high art meets country manners in the company premiere of George Balanchine s Square Dance (set to music by Vivaldi/Corelli and featuring a live square dance caller!). Best of all, Song & Dance will be your last opportunity to enjoy Principal Dancer Anne Mueller in some of her most beloved roles before she retires from the stage in May. Our annual performance run in the intimate Newmark Theatre consistently sells out.
